Hello there! The summer term is coming to a close, and here at Arts Active we have a jam-packed summer ahead of us! We’ve got a schedule full of exciting opportunities and events for all ages and interests!
For Younger Children:
Join Bert on his allotment as we find out how his garden grows through the seasons with silly songs, terrific tunes, special magic & mayhem. A real musical treat designed for the under 5s and the grown ups they look after!
Come and join Tiddly Prom’s Cherry Pie in a fun and informal introduction to music that you and your child can enjoy together. The session encourages your child’s natural love and enjoyment of music. Suitable for children ages 1-5
Trombone workshops for 5 – 7 year olds. Using special small P-bone trombones and with the expert guidance of trombonist and teacher Jo Hirst this is guaranteed to be a lip tingling half hour of fun.
A colourful Cat duo bring their stories and adventures and to life with an interactive and bilingual Story telling session from LaLaLa Productions. This event is for 5-7 yr olds and their families

As part of St David Hall’s Festival of Folk on Sunday 20 July, come to Lefel 1 and watch a selection of talented young folk enthusiasts!
Bach to Front is a feast of old and new, and celebrates the ‘mash-up’. From Bach to Billy Joel, see choral and a cappella music like you’ve never before from young operatic ensemble, Indomitable Productions.
Innocence and Experience is an emotional and honest piece of puppetry theatre. Coupled with voice and oboe, the production is based around Vaughan-Williams’ song-cycle Ten Blake Songs, and provides a brief but powerful look into the lives of two people and their place in the world.
The young and talented Unknown Theatre Company presents a new magical musical adventure. Steven Sondheim’s Into The Woods is a tantalising tangle of traditional fairy tales including favourites Cinderella, Jack, The Witch, The Wolf, Rapunzel and Little Red Ridinghood.
