If you are going to be in year 9 from next September and you are into art you might be interested in applying for the Criw Celf Cardiff Taster Day Course. The taster day gives you a chance to work with real working artists and learn new skills, techniques and ways of thinking about and producing art. Criw Celf is an Arts Council of Wales initiative and aims to support and develop Wales’ artists of the future.
EXCITING OPPORTUNITY: Attendance on the day course also puts you in contention to be selected for a place on the full Criw Celf Cardiff Studio Masterclasses programme which runs later this year and into 2017. If you are selected for that you will be able to stay with Criw Celf Cardiff for several years. Events and activities (in addition to the studio courses) will include trips to galleries, museums, arts centres, artist and curator talks and film screenings.
What is it?
A chance for young budding artists to work intensively for 1 day with two professional working artists.
When is it?
There will be two taster sessions that will take place on
Saturday 11 June, 10am–3.30pm at Bute Park Education Centre, Cardiff.
Saturday 9 July, 10am–3.30pm at Cardiff Story Museum, Cardiff.
How much does the course cost?
