Join us on Valentines day at Chapter Arts Centre. We will be sharing and showcasing our love for arts and education at its best. Part market place, part seminar, a celebration and the launch of the A2:Connect digital artist in schools marketplace.
The day will be a chance to find out about artists working in schools in the area and to meet them, the teachers involved and experience some of their work first hand. There will be guest speakers, lively presentations and practical workshops.
We will also launch our new online tool; where artists and teachers can post opportunities for collaboration, find out about each other’s work, initiate joint projects, share skills and start fruitful relationships.

This meeting will look at projects which cut through and dissolve the boundaries and barriers inherent in the usual school day, timetable, curriculum and structure. How letting artist led creative activity / approaches flood into every aspect of the school we can enable and enhance learning in pupils and staff that has a lasting positive impact. How wellbeing, emotional intelligence as well as basic skills, literacy and numeracy – and by association results – can all benefit from an influx of controlled chaos. We hope to solve the equation striking the balance of learner value vs disruption.
