Wednesday 13 March  |  10:00 – 15:00  |  Cardiff Story Museum

This course is designed to show teachers how to use the objects in museum collections to develop creative and cross-curricular learning opportunities, both during pupil visits and in the classroom.

Over the course of the day you will learn practical techniques for using a collection’s items including objects, paintings, and documents to inspire creative outputs across a range of subject areas. At the end of the day you will have a number of ideas and resources to take back to the classroom with you. All materials will be provided.

These day long courses aim to leave you with new strategies and ideas to take back to your classroom. Lead by practising artists with specific knowledge of arts in educational contexts each day combines both hands on and active practise as well as the opportunity to share and network with other teachers, colleagues and artists.

Places on the course are free to book and the network will sponsor your attendance by supporting the cost of supply staff up to £150 per day.
