About the artist: Frankie’s ceramic sculptures are inspired by explorations of coastline and landscape through many meanderings across beaches of sea washed pebbles; peering into rock pools, fingering the ridges of stones, shells and fossil whorls, informs the work. Through studying an MA in Ceramics at Cardiff School of Art and Design, Frankie developed her practice of creating her palette of coloured clays and forming a laminate block which is then shaped and carved.
