Chamber Principals of London, founded in 2023 by Sergey Levitin, concertmaster of the Royal Opera House, is an ensemble with an innovative approach to outstanding musical excellence. It comprises a unique blend of London’s foremost symphony orchestra principals—such as those from the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House—alongside professors from leading conservatoires including the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music.
Collectively, the ensemble’s members bring decades of experience from the UK’s leading musical institutions. More than just colleagues, they are long-time collaborators and friends, united by a shared artistic vision and a spirit of chamber music at its most communicative and alive. The ensemble made a truly remarkable debut at the Teatro Verdi di Salerno in Italy, receiving resounding acclaim.
