Open Orchestras is a project delivering music sessions in special schools in Cardiff enabling both pupils and staff to benefit from bespoke participation and training. In these sessions our music leaders work with cutting-edge technology to enable children with a variety of severe impairments to make music,

There is a building block approach to these session where we start with a one to one workshop which is tailored to the individual pupil, growing into group sessions developing music making skills alongside the individual sessions.

Currently we are working with Ty Gwyn & Riverbank SEN schools in Cardiff as part of the Open Orchestras programme, offering transition and continuum through from Primary to Secondary aged participants.
