Coffee & Jam

Coffee & Jam is a free music and coffee morning at Ely Presbyterian Church (Michaelston Road, CF5 4SX), Wednesdays, 10:30–12:30.

In partnership with Community Music Wales, Arts Active runs weekly music “jam” sessions for the Ely community of Cardiff.

These relaxed, friendly sessions are free to attend and open to all – from professional musicians to those with no experience at all. Learn to play guitar, ukulele, percussion or piano, guided by expert music leaders, or bring along any other instruments you already play. Even if you have never played an instrument before, you will be surprised how quickly and easily you can join in!

Music Leaders are happy to work on any pieces of music requested. In the past, these have included Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Elbow, Fleetwood Mac and Alanis Morrisette!

Sessions take place at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Michaelston Road, Cardiff, on Wednesdays during term time, from 10:30 – 12:30. This coincides with a coffee morning in the same venue, so you can also enjoy a cup of coffee and a friendly chat!
