On Tuesday 2 December Soundworks held a special Christmas celebration at Western Leisure Centre. Moving down from the usual upstairs room used for sessions, they filled the foyer with Christmas singing and cheer and plenty of tinsel! A wonderful brass quartet made up of Johanna Bartley, Holly Greenwood-Rogers, Helen Whitemore and Andy McDade played a feast of Christmas carols and festive sing-a-longs and, of course, we were treated to a few pieces from our incredible Soundworks music leaders, Phil May and Emma Davies.
It was a joy to see so many Soundworks members, leisure centre staff and customers and passing members of the public come together to listen, sing, dance and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
We would like to thank all our Soundworks members, as well as the staff at Western Leisure Centre, for all their support and enthusiasm throughout the year.
Merry Christmas!
