Into Film Cymru – running a film club and film literacy – a unique teachers’ networking event in Barry

Into Film is an education charity that aims to equip teachers with the skills, knowledge and resources to confidently use film to inspire, engage and enthuse their learners. Into Film’s ethos complements Professor Donaldson’s vision of supporting the young people of Wales to become capable, creative and confident students.

Take advantage of Into Film’s free services, tailored to match the educational and cultural needs of schools in Wales, as they evolve and adapt to embrace the new curriculum.

As a school you will be able to:

– take part in a film-based CPD training
– use the educational resources to help teachers use film in the classroom, you can download specific resources developed for Welsh schools HERE
– host inspirational industry-led events to broaden horizons and develop aspirations
– run a regular film club

Over the next few weeks, Into Film Cymru will be hosting a series of events to showcase its work so join us and the team involved from Barry Island Primary School at the Memo in Barry on the 15th June at 3.45pm to find out more! If you already run a film club then please also feel free to join us as an opportunity to share best practice and pick up new ideas.

To find out more about any of the above event, go to the Into Film Cymru website or please email non.stevens@intofilm.org
