Visual arts workshops, masterclasses, artists talks and exhibitions for young talented artists.
In September 2017 the Arts Active Trust is launching its successful Criw Celf programme across the full central south Wales area.
Criw Celf is a Wales-wide programme supported by the Arts Council of Wales. Criw Celf offers young talented visual artists opportunities to work intensively and at high level with professional artists. As a result through workshops, masterclasses, artists’ talks and mentoring the young artists develop their art work outside the classroom. The programme is both independent of and complementary to the curriculum.
The Arts Active Trust is expanding its current Cardiff based programme into the Bridgend, Merthyr, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Vale of Glamorgan regions. Hence, from the autumn term we will be enrolling talented young artists to our three A2 Criw Celf schemes.
Criw Celf Secondary – for pupils years 7 – 9
Criw Celf Portfolio – for pupils yr 10 & 11
Criw Celf Raising the Bar – for pupils yrs 12 & 13
We will be selecting participants through an application process, the full information of this will be available in September.
