Friday 25 January 2019 | 10:00 – 15:30 St David’s Hall, Cardiff

In times where there’s so much power in cultural diversity, learning about the traditions and the native music of the country in which you’re living is regarded by many to be of the utmost importance. This one-day Professional Learning session is an excellent resource, not only in order to learn about these traditions but also as a springboard to teach some of the Welsh curriculum and the GCSE syllabus in general. There are even more links with the Welsh Baccalaureate that educators could explore.

These day long courses aim to leave you with new strategies and ideas to take back to your classroom. Lead by practising artists with specific knowledge of arts in educational contexts each day combines both hands on and active practise as well as the opportunity to share and network with other teachers, colleagues and artists.
