Soundworks; Arts Active’s regular music-making workshop for adults with learning disabilities and autism, is resuming on Tuesday 24th January.

This term at Soundworks we will be celebrating Burns Night, St David’s Day and St Patrick’s Day and our weekly themes will explore everything from pizza to puppies! We’ll be learning about some of the fundamental building blocks of music, with an opportunity to learn about and try out a wide range of different instruments.

Soundworks enables participants to explore and create music in an enjoyable and accessible manner, while their support workers have an opportunity to develop skills in using music to build up their clients’ levels of social interaction, communication skills and confidence.
