Soundworks, our term-time music-making workshops for adults with learning disabilities and autism. These inclusive sessions encourage participants to explore sounds, rhythms and instruments in an informal, accessible and safe space. These music sessions form part of our inclusive programme of creative activities for adults and young people with learning disabilities and autism, offering excellent creative experiences for all.
Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID19, all Soundworks in person sessions were not able to take place. So, during Summer 2020 we offered weekly ‘make your own instrument’ tutorial videos and audio recordings which members could enjoy from the safety of their own home. For Autumn 2020 and Spring 202021 terms, we continued to steam our sessions with Emma & Phil on Tuesdays at 1:30pm, so all our members could access from home. The sessions are fun with lots of wonderful music.
