St David’s Day Celebrations with Soundworks
Our Soundworks programme brings together adults and young people with complex needs and learning disabilities for weekly music sessions. These joyful gatherings help participants and their carers develop life skills while building a strong sense of camaraderie. As one support staff member noted, “We have seen outcomes we never could have predicted—not just musically but developmentally and socially.”
We know from our project participants that these music making sessions have a significant impact on them and their carers. The regular activities support learning, physical and emotional wellbeing as well as offering opportunities for social interaction.
