Escape Your Day with Lunchtime Concerts
Looking for the perfect midweek escape? Step out of the office, into the heart of the city, and let live classical music refresh your day with the Cardiff Classical Lunchtime Concert Series, returning for the 25/26 season.
While St David’s Hall remains temporarily closed, Arts Active is proud to continue bringing high-quality classical music to Cardiff audiences at Eglwys Dewi Sant on St Andrew’s Crescent – just a stone’s throw from the city centre.
A Taste of the Season
Taking place on the first Tuesday of each month, these 1-hour lunchtime concerts offer something for everyone – from long-time classical enthusiasts to those curious about classical music. Each concert is a curated experience, blending performances by internationally recognised artists, with exciting new voices emerging from Wales and beyond.
Following an exciting 24/25 season that featured artists like Welsh harpist Alis Huws, the Galliard Ensemble, the Mavron and Ferio Quartets, London Winds, and up and coming percussionist Jordan Ashman, the new season promises even more unforgettable performances.
Whether you’re into string quartets, woodwind brilliance, or solo recitals, Cardiff Classical is your chance to experience music of the highest calibre – all during your lunch hour.

Tickets are available in advance via Ticket Source, or on the door (cash or card).
