Are you an aspiring young musician aged 14-18?

Do you want to develop your skills in composition, instrumentation and arranging?

This term’s Arts Active Young Composers course will focus on learning to compose for a trio of piano, clarinet and violin. You will be working alongside professional musicians and guided by composer Gareth Moorcraft.

At the end of this FREE four-day course, you will be able to hear your composition played live by the musicians. The performance will be recorded and sent out for you to keep and include in any portfolio you may be building for school or university.

Course dates and times: 25th, 26th, 27th & 28th March 2024. 10:00 – 1:30 each day.
