Summer Young Composers Course

Learn to compose for a professional ensemble and have your piece recorded.

Are you an aspiring young musician aged 14-18?

Do you want to develop your skills in composition, instrumentation and arranging?

This term’s Arts Active Young Composers course will focus on learning to compose for a duo of clarinet and piano. You will be working alongside professional musicians and guided by composer Pedro Faria Gomes.

At the end of this FREE four-day course, you will be able to hear your composition played live by the musicians. The performance will be recorded and sent out for you to keep and include in any portfolio you may be building for school or university.
